My stay at the hotel was alright overall. The rooms were not the quietest, and there seemed to be a leak as soon as I entered, but they were clean. Unfortunately, my room wasn't ready at the guaranteed 3 pm check-in time. The location was decent, close to some attractions, but it could use some cleanup. The dining had a good variety but was messy with overflowing trash.
Upon arrival, one of our rooms was not ready at the specified check-in time, causing a slight inconvenience, but the other two were prepared promptly. While the pool area was accessible, it seemed that going there wasn't as straightforward as expected.
The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, although the mattress was a bit worn out. The service, led by Tara, was not as reliable as expected, but they promised to look into the issues. The location needed some maintenance and care, but the overnight stay in International Falls was pleasant. The dining options were limited, but the continental breakfast was good. Overall, the hotel offered good value for the price, despite a few drawbacks.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Canadian Border with nice smoking areas, though some areas could use improvement like cleanup and TLC. The rooms with two full-size beds needed simple upgrades and were not ready for check-in as promised. The location could use some cleanup but is delightful, huge, and somewhat inconvenient in terms of time consumption. Overall, a mixed stay with both positives and negatives.
