Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was alright overall. The rooms were not the quietest, and there seemed to be a leak as soon as I entered, but they were clean. Unfortunately, my room wasn't ready at the guaranteed 3 pm check-in time. The location was decent, close to some attractions, but it could use some cleanup. The dining had a good variety but was messy with overflowing trash.
Upon arrival, one of our rooms was not ready at the specified check-in time, causing a slight inconvenience, but the other two were prepared promptly. While the pool area was accessible, it seemed that going there wasn't as straightforward as expected.
The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms, although the mattress was a bit worn out. The service, led by Tara, was not as reliable as expected, but they promised to look into the issues. The location needed some maintenance and care, but the overnight stay in International Falls was pleasant. The dining options were limited, but the continental breakfast was good. Overall, the hotel offered good value for the price, despite a few drawbacks.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Canadian Border with nice smoking areas, though some areas could use improvement like cleanup and TLC. The rooms with two full-size beds needed simple upgrades and were not ready for check-in as promised. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and family-friendly, but the dining area was messy with overflowing trash and uncaring staff.
The hotel had its ups and downs during my stay. The rooms needed a few repairs but we were swiftly moved into a new room, which was a relief after a long day of driving. The service was a bit disappointing when we were told the hotel was full but we still ended up in our original room. However, the dining experience was good and not overfilling, offering home-grown products. The location could use some cleanup but is delightful, huge, and somewhat inconvenient in terms of time consumption. Overall, a mixed stay with both positives and negatives.
The hotel rooms were clean and the breakfast was good, but there were serious needs for upgrades like functioning door locks and better electrical outlets. The location was good with smoking areas, but some areas needed improvement like laundry cluttering the hallways. Service was friendly, although there were issues with room readiness.
